Herbal formulas may contain 4 to 12 different ingredients, to be taken in the form of teas, powders, pills, tinctures, or syrups. Chinese herbal remedies are usually made up of a number of herbs and mineral. It simply requires you to dissolve in hot water and drink, much like instant coffee. One prescription will usually last a week to a week and a half. Chinese Herbal medicine has been used as front line medicine by the majority of the worlds population since recorded history, and I still the mist widely utilised medical system. Adverse reactions to Chinese herbs are extremely rare and are negligible when compared to those commonly produced by pharmaceutical drugs
