Liverpool Oseopahrty Clinic raises over £2000 for Marina Dalglish Charity.

Liverpool based osteopath Philip & Wife Vicky Thomas completed a one thousand mile charity cycle ride this summer. The ride will started on July 24th 2005 in Paris following the end of the Tour de France cycle race and finish ten days later in Trieste Italy on August 3rd.

They undertook this as part of a fund raising campaign for the Marina Dalglish charity to raise funds for the building of a cancer screening and treatment centre to be established at Aintree Hospital Liverpool.

They were accompanied on the ride by other members of the Liverpool Mercury Cycling Club, and wife Vicky who as herself rode the womens Tour De France For Great Britain cycling team 1987 now practice manager of both the Aintree and Allerton Osteopathic Clinic's.

Phil a former professional racing cyclist also held an open day at the Aintree Osteopathic Clinic on July 18th 2005, when all patients received treatment for free, but requested to make a donation to the charity.
